Also, a little unrelated but you are using conventional oil for the break in, right? You can switch to synthetic after break in but need conventional during break in. The piston rings won't seat properly during break in using synthetic oil. It's just too slippery, some friction is needed to seat the rings.

Captain Ronnie's vacuum and flyweight distributor doesn't have the wire with the black tracer. Look up some old threads by Jim83Itasca about your distributor and how to optimize the timing curve. He has it nailed.
Gayle Hawkins and I do have the wire with our computer controlled TBI engines. I pepped mine up with a chip from Harris Performance
