I think Copilot isn't really "new". Probably a few years old. One problem with their free version is that while it allows trip pre-planning, it automatically erases the entire existing route with all the waypoints when you start navigating to some new place. Don't know if this is so with their paid version.
Sometimes roads built in the last 3-4 years are not on the map at all, but this is to be expected with Open Street database.
I still like free Copilot better than NavFree (which is also free, obviously).
These are the best two free offline navigators that I know of.
