Since you aren't using the pass thru it doesn't matter but it seems small.
I will be installing a Xantrex inverter/charger in a friends rig and even though it is 2000 watts the transfer switch is 30a.
Not sure how they work, but when on 30 amp shore power, don't you want all 30 to pass through? Then if the actual inverter itself is only 20a or whatever that's all you get for off-grid.
