these are true drop in replacements. however, you pay the price for this convenience.. the packs have every protection going to prevent overcharge, cell balancing and anything else you can think of to cover their asses.. !
The BMS is likely to be 25% the cost of the pack.

one thing I forgot to mention was that because Li has better DOD range, the equivalent replacement can be smaller.
so say you have 100Ah Pb and you stick to 50% DOD then the useable Ah is only 50, with Li you have 70 therefore one can reduce that AH rating to (50/70) = 71 Ah
price for 100Ah from second link is $929
price for 70Ah ( nearest size is 80Ah ) = $788
