New smart TV

I've installed a new Samsung smart TV in my motor home and I cannot get it to see the cable channels. I know the cable works because I can get my old "dumb" TV in the bedroom to see all the cable channels. I know the coax between the switch box and the smart TV is good as I can get over the air channels using the antenna. Could my switching box be bad? Any other help would be appreciated.

Ran coax from the campground cable direct to the back of the smart TV and it worked. So it means it's in my switch box I guess. Right?

  • Run a length of coax from the working bedroom TV to isolate where your problem is, wiring or TV.
  • Have you changed the input on the TV to the COAX input and scanned the channels?
