Ni-Cad To Lithium Dr. Frankenstein Transplant?

This might help. Although it's is for 14.4v looks like the individual cells are same.

NiMh came out as the replacement to NiCd. Same battery charger can be used for either. NiMh has no memory.

Beware when recharging using modified sine wave generator. I ruined a Black and Decker Firestorm NiMh battery and charger (same charger and battery as DeWalt) while camping uing a Honda non inverter generator.
