No DC

Hi Need some of that great advise
Lost all DC when on House Batteries,Generator,Shore Power,Truck Alternator No DC
New batteries checked with voltmeter read 12.4
Power in & out of converter OK
Cant understand why no DC Driving me crazy Do not have a clue
Was camping at Doran Park on the coast & lost all DC
Had to dispose of all food in the refrigerator,no water pump
Please Help

  • Sometimes they have a self resetting circuit breaker also that may have gone bad right by the batteries. Also bad ground connection.
  • blown fuse would be the cheap/easy answer. There is often a second fuse in the line from the battery to the converter, besides the fuses in the converter. Check them all.

    If you have power going to the converter as shown by that voltmeter and all fuses are good, then it's also possible that the converter itself took a dump and may need replacing. That would be the expensive/difficult answer.
