LP Tanks have excess flow valves also. Open slowly=just crack the valve and wait, open a little more & wait, then open all the way.skipnchar wrote:

"BOTTLE" which is removable for filling? If it's a bottle, then it's likely the valve was opened too quickly so the system sensed a leak and shut it down. close the valve again and wait a few minutes then open it very slowly this time. Of course it's also possible that other things are to blame like a malfunctioning regulator, for example. If it's an LP TANK then I can't help you.
