I hope that I am posting this in the correct place. if not let me know and I will do what I can to correct the issue...I recently purchased a 23 foot Lynx 5th Wheel. When I looked at it all appliances were working. I struck the deal and returned another day to pick it up.Now I have it home and seem to have a problem. This is my first travel trailer. I had a slide in for a while and did not have any issues.The furnace, hot water heater and refrigerator do not want to work. The fridge will run on land power but not propane. When I attempt to switch to propane I can hear a clicking sound coming from it then it switches the "check" light on and stops clicking. My stove has propane to it and works. The stove is the last in the line from the tank. I can not hear propane coming in to the furnace at all. I can not find another valve to turn on other than the one at the tanks. I am unsure of the exact amount in the tanks but its enough to release the pressure valve at the front when I turn them on.Am I missing something simple? I was thinking the hot water heater, furnace and fridge may require a certain amount of pressure?

Make sure the tanks have propane in them. I had an issue where tank was neat empty and stove would work but nothing else

Run the stove top burners ON High so that the propane system is fully flowing.Some times it takes a few attempts for water heater, furnace and fridge to get propane flow thru their lines to their gas valves.You also have to have good 12V DC power......the fridge, water heater and furnace need DC power for control boards and furnace is completely DC power

If the tanks are full...and if you have tried to bleed the lines like Old-Biscuit posted above...Next I'd make sure that the regulator is not faulty..Also make sure that there is not another shut off valve somewhere along the line or even at each appliance.

I think I am going to pull the tanks and make sure they are full. I have good power to the camper. The blower works for the furnace and the fridge works very well on it. Does the fridge and furnace require more pressure than the stove?Thanks for the help guys.

In OPs initial post he stated he had propane to stove top and it worked fine.

Doubt he has an Emergency shut-off activated by LP Detector as evidenced by the flow of propane to stove top.

Just needed to get flow to WH, fridge and furnace after not being used.
Fuse for LP Detector was probably pulled due to issues with detector, low battery and/or to stop parasitic dc

It's a 1990 vintage 5th wheel

Re the propane detector safety cut off valve....

I missed it on my first read but.. he said PROBLEM SOLVED.

He replaced the fuse for the propane detector and now it works.

So he's got one.

Never have seen/heard of a solenoid shut-off on 5th wheel or travel trailer propane cylinders. But wouldn't surprise me if it was a new rig.

The OP stated in first post, 4th paragraph:
"The furnace, hot water heater and refrigerator do not want to work..................My stove has propane to it and works........"

Well I have seen a few that do that's why I suggested he look at the lp detector granted not very many. The fused removed is a little disturbing may be a problem with the lp detector.

The tanks need not only to be full, but firmly connected and the valves opened. Likely the seller closed them. There may also be a safety valve in the line but.. I do not think so,, This is an electrically controlled valve it is powered by your propane detector.

I would only be flat towing the Jeep and it does not weigh much. I run a crew cab Cummins and don't think it would be an issue at all. The trailer has a boxed frame which appears to be of descent construction but I may reinforce it a bit just to be safe. I am a CDL holder as well. I would have to measure the rigs total length. But I am certain that it will be quite a bit shorter than many I have seen. Its not a very long trailer....the truck on the other hand is pretty lengthy...

Think you just finally got gas flow up to the appliances.

Mounting a hitch on back of a 5th wheel to pull a jeep.
Frame may/may not be strong enough.
Then there is the overall length....65' MAX
Then there is the overall combo weight.....truck rated for that Gross combo?

I think it was the LP detector. I discovered the fuse was missing. I replaced it and suddenly have heat. Now on to mount a hitch on the back so I can pull my old Jeep or bike trailer behind it.

Each appliance has a LPG copper line from a common distribution manifold located outside and below the RV floor. There have been cases where a copper line has formed a p-trap that filled with oil and blocked gas flow to the individual appliance. Not often, but it has happened.

Check your lp detector it could be one of those you have to switch on and has a solenoid valve in series with it. If you don't switch it on no gas flow.
