Noisy Onan 4K = hack job install?
Didn't want to continue railroading the other guys thread so starting a new one. Were discussing why my Onan 4K is so noisy in my 5er and many pointed to the install and discussion around anti-vibe...

Yes factory installed by Eclipse RV:(. No it wont fall through the floor. There are frame rails that run along each sides that would prevent however I don't understand why they did such a large cutout on the bottom. All the hot air exists around the area of the exhaust. My brother just bought a trailer from another manufacturer with the same genny and I am going to see how it was installed and how loud it is next week.
One thing I have seen looking at some videos online is many with the same generator do not have a cutout on the trailer access door like mine (see top of first pic). Is it OK to block that off as that is where most of my noise is coming from the area of the fan.
