No, not trying to inject controversy at all. We have used one EU2000 with the TC since 2004 and it served very well pulling the 9K AC, MW, and electric heat.
With the new fiver, my thoughts were that two would be perfect especially with the BERG fuel setup. One 3k mile trip and I knew that I would make a change. We now have one trip under our belt with the Champion 3100 and all is good. I have the parts to convert it over to an extended run fuel setup.
I was the one fanning the flames. all is good. I too have the yellow 3100 with remote start. The dealer I purchased from already had the extended run kit installed. Works great, and looks/works like factory installation.
