NORCOLD 1200 UPDATE circuit board..
A few weeks ago I promised to post a report on the Dinosaur circuit board. The 10 year-old original board finally failed completely (looks like a short inside the relay).
I installed it, and it worked for 2 days and quit. I switched to propane, and it worked just fine for several days. So, I checked the 120vac outlet, nothing wrong there. Then, I checked all the fuses on the pc board, and the 120vac heaters for resistance and for shorts. They checked normal.
This new circuit board comes with a reset button, so I reset it. It's been working great ever since. Perhaps I'll call Dinosaur and ask if they have any suggestions on why it went into reset mode the first time.
