NORCOLD 8662 ISSUES NEED HELP PLEASE

Question

my Norcold  reefer quit working.  it has a new board installed.  the problem lies with the  heating element.  the heating element gets hot but  pops  the main  breaker. is the element bad or is the thermistor possibly causing the problem. please help. ThankYou. DUANE

Likely a short in the element.  Easy fix.  Pull one out, unplug the two wires, push in a new one, plug up the two wires. Done.

I got  the reefer running  I  moved the heating element around several times and  un plugged the thermistor and no circuit breakers blew. its  ice cold  and I plugged the thermistor back in  so will see if  it blows  the  breakers.  still not sure  why its working

I would get the element. It is sure to happen again when you are on the road. Cheap insurance.
