Assuming that the door is similar construction to the Norcold NB811 I had, do not attempt to pry off the bottom trim strip as it is glued to the interior foam core of the door. I tried to make a metal strip for the bottom of the door, but there was nothing solid inside the door for screws to get a grip into....it's all foam.
I now have a nice Haier 120 volt refrigerator installed that we like.
