Have left the fridge on for a couple of days without opening the door to allow moisture in. It is getting down to 30/-1 like usual, but climbs up to 41 mid-day, most likely due to the heat. The difference being, when camping and with ice on the fins, the temp wouldn't go down at night. So at least its a start to a solution to my issues.
If the fan that I ordered doesn't help with the mid-day heat, I'll look into getting a fan installed behind the fridge. Any comments or tips on this?
