Yes. If your mechanically inclined.
I pull mine out last year after it gave us headaches while on vacation.
Sat it on a short bench and removed all electrical and electronics, cleaned and re-taped the insulation, then sanded and re-painted the cooling system.
Cleaned and descaled the burner tube and vent. Tested the system and re-assembled.
The issue with ours was a failed cooling fan. Required because it's in a slide.
I used emory cloth on the end of a dowel rod in a drill to knock the rust out of the burner tube. I believe it was about an inch in diameter. Pulled the spiral heat deflector out and removed the carbon build-up.
I used heat resistant paint and let it run down in the tube.
We were down in south Georgia a few weeks ago in some hot temps and it's really helped.
