Norcold fridge mother board reset
Hello,
I recently bought a 2005 Thor Wanderer with a Norcold fridge unit. A couple of camping trips in and the propane tank ran dry during the night. We awoke to the sound of the fridge trying to reignite. I switched the tanks, but the fridge would not reignite. I presumed the tank was purged and refilled the original and fire it up. After firing up and trying to cool it went into what I now understand to be the 'no' code for no cooling. 5 x Green flashing light with 3 sec intervals. All of what I now know by the way was from a post from 'Rob' in 2011 explaining everything that was happening at the time to me. Because of Rob's post I was able to perform a successful mother board reset and the fridge fired up straight away and began cooling. Only for it to fail again with the same 'no' error message. This time unfortunately I am unable to reset the mother board with the same jumper wire technique.
So here's my question; Have I fried the mother board? Is there another internal shut off blocking a reset that I am unaware of? or any other advice you good forum people out there might shed light on.
I've read about the Norcold recall but don't think my model is involved in it, model #N611R serial number #1332594.
Any help would be appreciated.
