Norcold fridge stock hinges versus heavy duty hinges

I keep hitting a dead end on Norcold model N821 fridge hinges. Doing a search on here just lead to more questions. A search on here turns up nothing for past year, but several posts that are over a y...

Pat, I'll try to help you soon's I can spend a little time looking at threads. Basically, Norcold makes it sound like their reinforcement kit works on all the 800-series. It does NOT. Ron Dittmer helped me. He'd put kits on his doors and I decided to. By exchanging photos, we determined that the Norcold N811 that we have, made around 2002, had metal hinges that did not require the kit and there was no way to install a kit.
