Norcold fridge stock hinges versus heavy duty hinges

I had the same problem. I epoxied the broken hinge back together and made a piece of support metal, bent it to the shape of the lower hinge then epoxied it to the hinge and painted it black when dried. It has been holding for 4 years now.sometimes you just have to try to fix it your self because these big companies could care less.
