Let me guess, you live somewhere that it's hotter then normal. Actual temps with a thermometer will help us help you. If your unit is not getting below 15 degrees (measured on the back, bottom wall of the freezer) then the fins in the refer section will not get below 32. The fins have to get that cold for the rest of the refer to get below 40. Adding any fan you have to the outside vent will probably help the most of anything you can do. Not opening the doors any longer than necessary will help, even putting cold drinks in a cooler with ice so you do not open the door. When it's really hot out these things struggle to keep up.
