HE felt it was a larger draw on the batteries than necessary, as it runs on 110 AC when tied to shore power. Engaging the batteries and inverter to provide AC to the fridge when boondocking was drawing too many amps, if I recall correctly...
If I read your response correctly, your so called "tech" is an idiot.
1. IF boondocking, YES, run on LP, IF that is what he is stating
2. If plugged into Shore Power or Genset, run on AUTO(default is 120), which will be 120 volts. If on Shore/Genset, Inverter will NOT be running the 120 of the Refer as it will just use its pass thru 120 current from the 120 source. Doug
