Bottom line is, unless you travel to work or anywhere else via shoeleather express... You gotta have it so if it goes up or down, don't matter.
But then you could always drive a Tesla and ignore the pollution the power plant makes because it's 'green. Green my butt.
I don't drive that much, a tank of gas usually lasts me a month. I do use a lot of diesel for farming but it's also a write off so don't matter a whole lot what it costs, it offsets my profit and I pay the government less.
If it was 5 bucks a gallon (diesel) fine, between the overhead cost and passing it on to my customers, all is well.
