I don't drive that much, a tank of gas usually lasts me a month. I do use a lot of diesel for farming but it's also a write off so don't matter a whole lot what it costs, it offsets my profit and I pay the government less.
If it was 5 bucks a gallon (diesel) fine, between the overhead cost and passing it on to my customers, all is well.
My guess is most Tesla or any other EV drivers don’t drive it because it’s “green”. Go for a test drive and you’ll figure out why most people buy them. I get it. Not everyone is into high performance cars or convenience so not everybody wants or needs an EV. But some are and my guess is that is most of their market. It is around here anyway.
