I fail to understand the "confront Iran". We, the USA have been attacking them for over a lifetime, and they have never invaded our country. On the other hand 17 out of 19 hijackers 18 years ago this month where Saudi nationals. But we sell weapons to the Saudis to protect themselves from Iran.
US claims to love Democracy. We hear of elections in Iran. Fair elections, I can't say, (in my home town less than 5% of registered voters raised our taxes) Any Saudi elections in the news?
