These showed up on here a couple weeks back. Looks interesting for sure... I'm not real keen with the DC SHUNT idea especially if used in the POSITIVE SIDE of the batteries. To prone with HOT wires routed everwhere...
I see the AC VERSION uses the HALL EFFECT coil method - Now this I would love to see being used on the DC side..
I too would want the 100A version... My three battery bank likes to draw around 53AMP DC when first being charged... I currently have a +/- 70A Hall Effect meter installed in the line feeding my batteries and this is great as it shows the load current and the charge current with a + or - minus symbol. Been looking for these to start showing up again...
The TRIMETRIC would be a good unit for my install as it supports a settable DC alarm state. I like to monitor my batteries and would like to have an alarm go off when I start seeing around 12.0VDC when running off my batteries. This gives a good idea I am starting to get down close to the 50% charge state on the setup...
For $20-$40 sure would be something to play with. The display has all you need to watch on it... Wondering how bright this meter is going to be. I installed a three LED meter panel (two DC Voltmeters and one DC Current meter and it was so bright I had to add ON/OFF switch on it. Lit up my whole trailer at night...
