Bayite DC 6.5V-100V Digital ammeter voltmeter Amazon suggested this for me and I'm thinking for $20 I might just give it a try. Has very good reviews too.

push and hold the set button
the volts display will come on (and only that will be on)
push/tap SET again volts will go out , amps will come on
push/tap SET again amps will go out and the capacity, total amp hrs will come on
now push either the top button to increase the amphrs capacity
bottom button to lower capacity ( aka total battery amphr size )
when the number is correct push 'set' again
now push either to top or bottom button
you want to change the middle letter from N to Y
then push set again and the new capacity value will be saved
you sill then to set the actual value of charge example 200 amphrs
but that is a sperate operation
