Bayite DC 6.5V-100V Digital ammeter voltmeter Amazon suggested this for me and I'm thinking for $20 I might just give it a try. Has very good reviews too.

That wasn't one of the choices on the install diagram. Do I install "with charger and external power supply" but just don't hook up the external power supply?

I can do all kinds of mechanical repairs but when it comes to reading wire schematics I feel completely lost!
