Steps....
1. Plug in adapter to OBDII with key off
2. Turn key to ON (not just Accessory)
3. Turn on bluetooth on tablet/phone
4. Tablet Settings, Wifi, Bluetooth, Look for 'OBDII' (if you find it already paired, select its settings and choose 'unpair' else next step)
5. Under Available Devices, select OBDII. It will say 'pairing...' then ask for pin, should be 1234
6. Open Torque (it was closed and removed from recent programs before you started, right?)
7. Choose Torque's settings (gear), make sure Connection Type is 'Bluetooth' and Choose Bluetooth Device is OBDII {00:whateveraddress}
8. Note: under Special settings/options there is an option "Ford F150 2000/01 ECU Bug workaround" (don't know if you need this or not, if the rest here doesn't work, try it)
9. Select 'Fault Codes' from Torque's main screen and get fault codes.
Note 2: To exit Torque, you MUST use the gear/settings button and select QUIT. If not, it does some funky things ;)
Also be sure no other bluetooth devices are turned on and near the tablet/phone.
Let us know how this works out.
