I'm declaring the battery dead. This morning it was reading 11.9 volts after having all lights off overnight. I'm using a HF digital multimeter. Reminder to self, always make sure to turn these things are turned off - replacing the battery in the middle of the night is not fun.
I've never let the batteries boil dry and have kept them topped up with distilled water. It never gets much of a discharge because we're either plugged into 120V at home or a CG.
There's a Walmart and a few other places nearby to get a deep cycle battery. Would rather change over to AGM and will see if they're available around the Gilroy, Ca area. I have a battery minder but of course it's at home. We need a battery to travel and I'm not going to turn the converter back on.
Are AGM batteries (Lifeline, Optima, etc.) hard to find?
