I am not trying to hijack your thread, but I have a battery issue and like some of your feelings,
We are getting ready to pull out in the AM, went over yesterday to turn Refrigerator on (camper has been in storage since July, the little JENSON panel read "11.4 V" I figured all was well. I went back today no power at all...Took battery to parts place to get checked and a "charge" (battery is a 12 Volt deep cycle EXCIDE purchased the end of June). They tell me the battery has 11.4 volts but only 66 CCA, S/B 425 CCA.
I have never heard of the volts being still up and the amps down...
66 CCA is a starting battery spec (and a small one). You indicate a deep cycle battery??? Is it a marine deep cycle battery?
For house batteries you want a AH spec like say 100AH.
