Most everyone trys to recharge the batteries in the daytime so that they will (hopefully) make it thru the night.
I do the opposite for cold weather camping. I run the generator all night, when the power is being used the most, and let the batteries carry me thru the , when the load on them is lighter.
I believe that the Mr Buddy type heaters require vents or windows to be opened..4000 BTU won't cut it with them open. Best to run the furnace. Use a dehumidifier and close the unit up tight.
