If the furnace, tank heaters, pipe heaters etc hog power all night with the generator running and you are using the RV I would say good to go. Battery may just need to last while you are out skiing for the day. If the days are above freezing there is not much power needed. Excellent strategy IMO. Bring an extra bottle of propane.
