1)I would put 1 gallon of RV antifreeze in the black and grey tanks.
2)Our fresh water tank was under the couch. {keep it warm}
3)I would recommend upgrading to a good multi-stage converter as it can do a boost charge that is faster
4)Winterize the water systems and just use the Motorhome pretty much as a bed room and kitchen. {but adding a hose from the pump outlet at the tank will let you use water and let it run into the black/gray tanks}
This is quoted from Rolin, but I added the numbers and curly bracketed comments to emphasize. It's how we deal with winter RV use.
+1 on the hope you have fun.
It's a worry to run a 3 season in winter, but the gain is worth it. Starting off without water in all the water lines will give you a feel for how well things work without the worry that you'll get the most expensive type of freeze failure. We don't miss the faucets, and it's too cold for showering anyway.
