I built FAIL PROOF alternators, charging systems, and battery reality tests solely because I did not slip on a NO BAD DAYS tee shirt and pretend garbage was acceptable.
I am not a negative personality. What I AM, for real, is a demanding personality. When I spend my money for something I do not expect to get screwed in the process.
Too many friends from my youth turned out to be happy/smiley all-is-right-with-the-world-just-hold-it-in-longer. They are all dead now.
