onan fault code 27
Was running the genset going down the road to cool the kiddos w ac. Stopped for a minutie and it shut down. Wont restart. Will fire but immediately shuts down. No load on it, not hot, oil ok...

Code 27 is a voltage sense fault meaning that the controller is not recognizing AC voltage being produced. Could be caused by bad brushes, bad wire or connection, A1 controller or even the rotor or stator.
Quick google search showed the above. Leave it running in the drive way with everything that you had on before and see if it quits again, engine off.
