onan Micro Quiet Generator

Hello looking for some help. Our generator will start and run with the circut breaker on the generator off. If the circuit breaker is turned on it will stop running or will not start at all. Any help will be greatly appreciated. We also had an issue with loosing power in the coach. The Generator would be running than for no reason we would loose power in the coach but the generator would still be running. The problem continued for awhile now we have the problem with the generator not running with the circuit breaker on. Not sure if the 2 are related or not. I can tell you than if I hook up another generator to the shore line everything works fine except the AC unit will not come on? Again any help would be great

At his point, I'd suggest you turn off the main breaker in your RV panel and try again. There's nothing in the generator breaker that should stop the gen from running. If the gen runs with your main off, then the problem is in the RV.

I'm not sure what to say about this, but I'd start with the above. A generator circuit breaker is just a switch, and it should do nothing more than connect the output of the gen to the RV, or trip if there's an overload. It's barely possible that the breaker is bad and causing a problem, but I doubt it.

Something doesn't seem right with the symptoms you have, and I'd clear that up first.
