Onan Quiet diesel generator 7500 HDKA
Ran all night shut off for couple hours restarted runs 5 minutes and shuts off. Does this with or without load. After 8 or 10 hrs, will run continuously. Could this be a fuel problem or electrical?

Over temperature sensor sounds suspicious. Latent engine cylinder head heat closing circuit keeping shutdown activated. Engines always gain temperature just after they are shut down after running long time. A bad sensor can act psychotic sometimes.
