I have had better luck with Bosch than Trico or Rain-x. I do use Rain-X washer fluid which does contain a small amount of silicone oil which helps protect the rubber on the blades. I live and travel mostly in the northern states so heat and ozone (factors in rubber failure) is less.
I have in the past used Armorall on rubber which contains silicone to protect rubber, do NOT however use this with out Rain-X it can really cause some interesting effects on glass.
