Opinion About Longer Lasting Better Windshield Blades?

Seems like every time I turn around, my windshield wipers smear, chatter, or even break. I clean the squeegee part with water and a cloth but rather than return to Trico or Anco, maybe there is someth...

My wiper blades seldom need to be replaced. I wash my vehicles wind shield a couple of times a month with Dawn dish washing soap/water mixture that I keep in a bucket in the garage. I scrub the rubber blades also and wipe dry
About twice a year I carefully pull the rubber blades out and turn them around.
