Typical adjuster in my experience.

Ask your customer to contact his agent, and the agent can put a bug in the adjuster's ear. The customer might say something to the agent about "this is the kind of thing that makes me consider changing companies". The agent makes money off that repeat business. The adjuster makes money by squeezing the customer.
