Yes! That would be great. Any suggestions or install guidance would be appreciated. My first thought (regardless of inverter unit) is where do I tap into the 12V feed. I recently tapped the fridge switched 12V to power the fans I installed on the fins. However, I anticipate the inverter will be a larger draw.
Thank you.
I installed my small 300 watt inverter just behind the power distribution panel where all the 120v breakers and 12v fuses are.
Use the main 12v connection to the panel to get power. This cable goes direct to the battery with heavy wire.
I have a GoPower inverter
GP on amazon $170 You can find lower prices but search for some quality not just on price. Definitely recommend sine wave. You may only need 150 watts, check the device.
Then connect to a string of outlets using a transfer switch.
KISAE TS15A 15A ATS $50Just make connections, no pulling wire. Go Power has a provision for a remote power switch so it can all be tucked away in the cabinet.
Now if you want to go larger like 1000w to 2000+ watts you will need 2 to 4 batteries and must mount the inverter close to the battery due to the very high amp draw under heavy load.
