Outside Kitchen Fridge

So the new TT has an outside kitchen and 115VAC dorm fridge. If I'm using the fridge I assume the access door for the kitchen must be open to ventilate the fridge?
  • My TT has this as well and I had not considered this. Following to read others advice.
  • You need to check for vents behind the refer. Some OEM's did NOT vent that cabinet and the refers overheated and failed. Most, now, vent them to allow them to run with the outside door closed. NO VENTING internally, then you need to run with the outside door open. Doug

So THAT's why so many with outside kitchens leave the kitchens open, in rain, in wind, when gone, and at night? I always thought that was strange, leaving everything opened up and the owner and company are not even around. THAT makes perfect sense. I absolutely never thought about that reason before.

See! You can teach an old dog new tricks! THANKS! :)
  • Always leave our door closed unless we are outside. Never had the fridge overheat.
  • Mine has 2 round vents behind the fridge that ventilate to the bathroom.
