Oven temperature too low
Is there anyway to adjust the temperature of the oven in an Atwood RV stove? 300 degrees when set to 350. Doesn't seem to get any hotter even if I turn it up. Stan

The pilot flame looks good and lights easily. The pilot flame increases when the temp is moved from pilot to a higher setting just as it should so the secondary pilot is working. I suspect a new thermostat won't be much better than the one you have. Seems like the temp error is pretty common and most often the temp is on the low side. My advice, put a oven thermostat in the oven and set the thermostat at the various temps on the dial and after 30 minutes read the oven thermostat. Then make a correction chart so you know what to set the thermostat at, or do as I did and redo the label on the thermostat with a labelmaker.
