Oxygenics Showerhead Problem

We installed our showerhead a couple of years ago. We are now noticing that the pressure and amount of water delivered is about half from when it was new.
So far I have tested the pressure of the water coming to the fixture, that appears to be normal. Checked for a mis-shapen seal both at the showerhead and at the fixture connection, both normal. Soaked showerhead in white vinegar all day, that also did nothing.
Anybody run into this problem?
Do I need a new showerhead?
  • Have had no problem with ours. I would see if I could take the shower tip apart. There are very small holes there to force the fine streams of water. Any small particles of junk in the water could block those. I just did that with my kitchen faucet and it made a great difference in water flow. Tip was almost completely blocked.
  • One thing to try is to take a paper clip and poke it through each hole in the shower head. Will clean out any crud that has built up.
I removed the flow restrictor in mine to boost the water column.
