I think just the opposite is probably true. One has to understand and be able to correctly use the EZ-lube system to prevent issues and get it's intended benefits.

Really? I, personally, know very few people who have ever disassembled a brake drum, removed the seal and bearings, and repacked the bearing. It's just not done very much.
I've read accounts on this forum of issues with brakes and axles after having the hubs serviced by a supposedly well trained staff at a business that does it on a regular basis.
The EZ Lube system is simplicity itself: jack up the wheel, slowly grease the system, while turning the wheel, until clean grease comes out the front.
Yes really ... and what I previously said I still stand by as my opinion based on personally having done both methods and extensive reading here of others experiences concerning both methods. While you have a right to your opinion I just do not share it.
Just your belief in what those "well trained staff at businesses" do as being a counter point with any weight to what I stated is IMO laughable.
