So.... I just toook off and repacked, by hand my four wheels that have the lippert super lube zerk fittings. My other TT didnt have that and I just repacked them every spring as part of my spring wake up ritual. When I took off the drums 3 of the four wheels the magnets and interior surface were coated with grease. Enough that I probably had no brakes on one side. The amount of grease that I cleaned out of the hubs used 3 rolls of paper towels. Ive had the TT for three years and have driven almost no miles, so each spring up to this one I just pumped in he grease until it came out clean in the front. Like a half-full tube per axle. No back to repacking them I can find no where if I should pump more grease back into it and how much. My auto parts guy said its a waste of grease, you've repacked them properly and don't need to pump grease back in. I ill be taking it out for a road test shortly as I will be doing 600 miles over two days shortly. Out of habit whenever I stop I always feel the tries and rims to see if anything is getting hot. Which it never has. So what to do? To pump or not to pump? That is the question...
