When I leave full time rv'ing I'll be looking for an electric car. My future condo has a 15 amp circuit. I'll be trying to walk more and there is a movie theatre (2nd run) and two good grocery stores within two blocks.
I believe that 350 watt-hours per mile is a reasonable figure, so in a 12 hour charging day I should "bank" about 56 miles. That number is well above what I drive in my ICE and works out to a little over 20,000 miles per year.
I used 110 volts @ 15 amps to give a daily consumption of 19.8 KWH. That may cost me $2.37 per day at current rates.
Hi Don. Hope your keeping well. Our average is about 6.2 km per kWh but it goes up and down depending on the time of year.
Cheers.
John.
