Good evening PianoTuna. In the spring you and I had chatted reference how the seasons change the KWH per kilometer usage in an electric vehicle. I happened to be browsing the menus in the leaf and noticed the change from the last time we chatted. It was still closer to winter then and I think I mentioned our KWH kilometer usage was around 6.2 KM per kwh. Spring of course sees an decrease in power usage as we don't use heat or air conditioning that much. Here is a screen shot.
This of course will change as we get into summer in the Okanagan and constant air conditioning use. Probably back to around 6.2 or 6.1. Some of the other EV's (like the IONIQ and BMW is are a little thriftier with power) But this is real world for us. Of course a lot has to do with the roads one travels and the speed limits etc. In this valley typically the speed limit is 90 KMH with a few areas at 100 KMH. In an EV the faster you go the faster you gobble power.
Anyway, I know you find this stuff interesting and thought this thread would be a good post to show the leaf shot.
