My main point is that cable size does matter, even with pwm.
You get diminishing returns when you go bigger and bigger in cable size. Less than 1% drop makes little sense. Greater than 3% gives a significant performance hit where tapering starts. 2% before charge controller and 1% after CC sounds reasonable. If you got money to burn, go straight 1%.
