Let's get this straight. Clouds reduce irraniance. Hence all panels are affected by clouds. Not *some* panels as you previously stated.
Again, there's no reason, when using 24V panels to connect panels in series, to harvest more power during low irradiance conditions.
You can test all you want to your hearts desire. But I would rather use my engineering analytical toolbag to achieve the correct answer.
